Gerald Hooper graduated with a Juris Doctorate from Loyola College of Law in May 2014. He is a bi-lingual, creative sales and promotion executive with a track record of meeting and exceeding goals related to volume, distribution, demonstration, presentation, merchandising, management, and training. He is skilled in building long-term, meaningful relationships with buyers, retail managers, professional instructors, merchandisers, retail salespeople, athletes and artists. He has achieved significant results related to promoting company growth, maintaining industry-leading service, and increasing profitability. Gerald is the current AVP of Global Sales for Vista Musical Instruments, the former President of Gibson Brands, Inc for North & South America and International Export Sales Manager for Taylor Guitars (Latin America, Southeast Asia, Oceana). He was a 2007 member of Callaway’s “Chairman’s Club” and a three-time nominee for the South Texas PGA’s Sales Representative of the Year. Gerald worked as an Executive Assistant and Record Promoter for two different major record labels in the music industry and as a Regional Territory Sales Manager in the golf equipment industry.
